Juelsminde Havnefest
There is always lots of atmosphere in the port town Juelsminde during summer whenever the sun is shining. But the atmosphere always peaks in July, when the biggest harbour festival on the Danish east coast takes place. Come and enjoy good music, stand-up, the funfair, and party in the tents.
The local summer highlight
Juelsminde Harbour Festival heralds summer every year in the little seaside gem on the east coast of Denmark, Juelsminde. The area around the marina and The Great Beach is turned into a big festival site with a funfair, party tents, and music scenes. Many of the activities are free, but most concerts and shows with some of Denmark’s most famous artists require you to purchase a ticket. At the harbour festival you can find something to suit all tastes and for all age groups. So bring your friends or family for party, events, or simply a stroll through the festival site when visiting Juelsminde.
Cultural experiences in “The Frigate”
The Frigate (Fregatten) is the place where you can experience the festival headliners. Here, you can attend concerts with popular musicians and stand-up artists.

Other events and experiences at the festival
A host of diverse events is organized every year for Juelsminde Harbour Festiva. For example, you can attend gentleman’s lunch, ladies’ lunch, bingo, or children’s entertainment. In the centre of the festival site, you can enjoy yourself in the interesting pop-up pub The Beer Crate (Ølkassen).
One of the great draws of the festival is the funfair from Herning Tivolipark with adrenaline rush evoking amusements for children and adults.

Juelsminde Harbour Festival is conducted Wednesday-Sunday in week 28 every year. You can see the whole schedule on this page.
In keeping with tradition, the festival ends Sunday with the colourful, annual harbour festival parade through the streets of Juelsminde.
